Being Sorted into a House

Incoming First Year

Newly admitted first year students are automatically sorted into a house once they have registered for the First-Year Experience Program. These students will find out which house they belong to at our annual Honors Convocation at the beginning of each fall semester. If a student is unable to attend Honors Convocation, he or she will be contacted via email with the results of the sorting.

Current/Transfer Students

Students admitted to the Honors College as either transfer or current students are not automatically sorted into a house, but may be sorted by request at any time during your years with the Honors College. Sorting will be done randomly.

Upperclassmen

Juniors and Seniors may be sorted into Houses by the individual request of the student. Sorting will be done randomly.
