"I did have a Brazilian student, Saulo Machado, in my heat transfer class this summer. He was one of the best students in the class. Afterwards, he approached me and asked if I would consider working with him in an individual study class, and based on my interaction with him in heat transfer, I agreed. He is working in the Thermal-Fluids Lab making operational a heating ventilation and air conditioning experiment (HVAC), and will then perform an engineering analysis to characterize the performance of that HVAC system."
