Program Overview

This program will introduce students to wildlife behavior and conservation and veterinary issues in Africa. Students will travel to Bela Bela South Africa and the Rory Hensman Conservation and Research Unit to work on individual research projects to learn more about wildlife behavior and to develop strategies to support conservation efforts through research and critical thinking. Students will have the opportunity to actively participate in conservation efforts, assist in cooperative care of animals, and help develop solutions to human-animal conflict within local communities. Students will get hands on experience providing care and support for wildlife to assist long-term conservation efforts.
