The mission of the TTU K-12 Global Education Outreach (GEO) program at the International Cultural Center (ICC) is to foster knowledge and understanding of international issues, broaden cultural understanding, promote good will among various culture groups through educational experiences, and encourage the pursuit of higher education through Texas Tech University.

The GEO program promotes cultural awareness by supporting the development of students as global citizens. The K-12 standards-based curriculum incorporates critical thinking, brain-based learning, and 21st century skills to align with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), and Core Knowledge.

Programming is designed to be interdisciplinary, engaging children through an experiential learning environment both at the ICC and in classrooms throughout the region. GEO programs are available to kindergarten through twelfth grade public, private, and home-school students as well as other community organizations across the South Plains.
