This scholarship was created in 2019 by Chris and Linda Antcliff. This scholarship is awarded to J.D. students in accordance with the TTU School of Law Scholarship policy. Preference will be given to students who are actively serving in the United States Armed Forces, are veterans with Honorable Discharge, or who have two or more years of work experience subsequent to their graduation from college.

THE KAREN (HARRISON) BRAND SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT

This endowed scholarship is used to recruit top students to Texas Tech School of Law and is granted based upon merit.  It can be renewed for up to three years if specified criteria are met.

RALPH BROCK AND RALPH H. BROCK ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created by Carolyn Moore and Elaine Brock in 2020. This scholarship is award to J.D. students who is a graduate of a Texas high school. Preference will be given to a first-generation student (undergraduate or post-graduate) from the West Texas area, which includes only the Texas panhandle, South Plains, Permian Basin region, and San Angelo.

This scholarship was created in 1988 by Tom Hall. This scholarship is awarded to an Austin College Graduate.

KELLN ZIMMER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP 

This scholarship was created by family and friends of Texas Tech law alumna Kelln Zimmer in 2019. This scholarship is awarded to J.D. students in accordance with the TTU School of Law Scholarship policy. Preference will be given to students who attended high school in Amarillo or Canyon, Texas. If there are no student applicants from these areas, then consideration will be given to any students from one of twenty-six counties of the Texas Panhandle or those who attended Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University.

This scholarship was established in 2019 by Keith V. Novick. This scholarship is awarded to J.D. students. Preference will be given to first-generation college students.

RICHARD AMANDES ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2002 by Reaud Charitable Foundation. This scholarship is awarded to student(s) involved in the Advocacy Program.

KELLY AND DANIEL BENZON ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2020 by Kelly and Dan Benzon. The scholarship is awarded to students who are members of the Board of Barristers but who are not members of the Law Review.

This scholarship was created in 2001 by The American Board of Trial Advocates. This scholarship is awarded to fund a scholarship for J.D. students involved in the advocacy program.

This scholarship was created in 2019 by Emma Cano. This scholarship is awarded to J.D. students in accordance with the TTU School of Law Scholarship policy. Preference will be given to students who are active participants in the Law School's advocacy programs and are first generation law students.

This scholarship was created in 1975 by R Guy Carter, Dallas attorney. This scholarship is awarded to advanced law school students with financial need.

CHRISTIAN LEGAL SOCIETY LEADER'S ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 1996 by Kevin and Ginger Nelson. This scholarship is awarded to the president of the Christian Legal Society.

WILLIAM C. CLARK MEMORIAL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 1969 by Mrs. J.D. Clark and David G. Clark, in memory of their son and brother a Lubbock attorney and member of Texas Tech Class of 1942. This scholarship is awarded to a second or third year law student.

CLINICAL PROGRAM ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2003 by Sam Fadduol. This scholarship is awarded to law students who are involved in the clinical programs.

COFFEY DIVERSITY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2014 by Mimi Coffey. The Law School Diversity Committee, or a similar faculty committee appointed by the Dean, will recommend one or more current law students to receive the scholarship. Preference will be given to law students from underrepresented groups and/or who have been active in promoting diversity within the legal profession.

TIM COLE ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2009 by Glasheen, Valles, Inderman & DeHoyos, LLP and Jeff Blackburn, in memory of Tim Cole who died in 1999 in a state penitentiary for a crime he did not commit. This scholarship is awarded to law students whose interest in justice and public service would best honor the memory of Mr. Timothy Cole.

ROBERT DON COLLIER SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT

This scholarship was created in 2013 by Robert Collier. This scholarship is awarded to second or third year J.D. students who are in the top ten percent of their respective law school classes based on their most recent cumulative grade point averages and who are also active members of a TTU School of Law journal.

JANET AND DAVID COPELAND ENERGY LAW ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2009 by Janet & David Copeland. This scholarship is awarded to law students concentrating in energy law studies at Texas Tech School of Law.

CROFOOT HONORS SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT

This scholarship was created in 2004 by Crofoot Matching Funds. This scholarship is awarded to law students who graduated from the TTU Honors College based upon academic achievement and community and University Service. Recipients must maintain a GPA placing them in the upper half of their class.

This scholarship was created in 2013 by James H. Gill. This scholarship is awarded Scholarship is to be used for students who are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces or are veterans with an honorable discharge. Marines or Navy will have priority.

HUFFAKER ATTORNEYS ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP IN MEMORY OF W.C. HUFFAKER, JR. AND GERALD HUFFAKER

This scholarship was created in 2005 by established by John Huffaker to honor the memory of W.C. Huffaker and his son, Gerald, who in their combined careers practiced law in Tahoka, Lynn County, Texas for over sixty years. This scholarship is awarded to a law student who comes from a rural or agricultural background

ANNE ROBISON HUFFMAN MARRIED STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2006 by Walter and Anne Huffman. This scholarship is awarded to a married law student in any class with the priority going to a student whose spouse is active in Texas Tech Law Partners.

HUNT FOR EXCELLENCE IN ADVOCACY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2009 by friends and former students of Coach Donald M. Hunt. This scholarship is awarded to either or both of (1) a second-year student who has demonstrated excellence in advocacy or (2) a first-year student who has demonstrated special skills in advocacy.

STEPHEN AND KAREN JOHNSON ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2010 by Stephen and Karen Johnson. This scholarship is awarded to one student, with preference to married couples enrolled at the School of Law.

DAVID AND AMANDA JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT

This scholarship was created in 2013 by Ken and Kathy Johnson. This scholarship is awarded to a 3L member of the Texas Tech Law Review who has not previously or otherwise been awarded any law school scholarship assistance.

MARION T. KEY MEMORIAL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2009 by Lubbock National Bank. This scholarship is awarded to (1) students in the Texas Bank Lawyer program, and (2) deserving students in need of financial assistance.

ROGER A. AND ANN KEY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP IN BANKING, BUSINESS, AND COMMERCIAL LAW

This scholarship was created in 2020 by Roger and Ann Key. This scholarship is award to J.D. students in accordance with the TTU School of Law Scholarship policy. Preference will be given to students who are a Texas Bank Lawyer member, any advanced 2L or 3L student who applies through the Texas Tech Law School Foundation application process and has expressed interest in pursuing a career in banking, business, or commercial law, and are graduates of Texas Tech University Honors College, or Rawls College of Business, of The University of Texas McCombs School of Business. Additional consideration will be given to first-generation college students. 

JOHN E. KRAHMER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 1998 by The Texas Association of Bank Counsel in honor of Professor John Krahmer of Texas Tech University School of Law. This scholarship is awarded to the student editors of the Texas Bank Lawyer publication.

LUBBOCK NATIONAL BANK ENDOWED FELLOWSHIP IN HONOR OF JOHN E. KRAHMER

This scholarship was created in 1999 by Lubbock National Bank. This scholarship is awarded to the Editor of the Texas Bank Lawyer publication.

JOHN F. "BUDDY" MANER CHANCELLOR'S BARRISTER FELLOWSHIP

This scholarship was created in 1998 by Wayne Reaud and the Reaud Charitable Foundation. This scholarship is awarded to a student whose parents are blue collar workers.

THE MEADOWS COLLIER SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT IN HONOR OF ROBERT DON COLLIER

This scholarship was created in 2017 by established by Meadows Collier in honor of Robert Don Collier, a Tech Law Graduate, a Founding Partner, and the only Managing Partner of Meadows Collier until his retirement as Partner on December 31, 2015. This scholarship is awarded to fund one or more annual scholarship(s) to J.D. students with financial need and an interest in private practice of law in the areas of tax, estate planning, other areas of business law and white collar crime.

LAWRENCE AND CANDYCE MONSOUR ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2007 by Douglas C. Monsour. This scholarship is awarded to a Law Review member.

BRENDAN AND BRIAN MURRAY CRIMINAL DEFENSE ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2006 by friends of Brendan Murray, a second year Texas Tech law student who worked for the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and who died in 2006. In 2019, the name of the scholarship was changed to include Brian Murray, long-time criminal defense attorney and Brendan's father, who passed away in 2016. This scholarship is awarded to students interested in practicing criminal defense law, as a champion for the poor and oppressed.

JOE H. NAGY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 1993 by the Joe Nagy family. This scholarship is awarded to married law students who are graduates of Texas A&M University.

HAROLD AND MARILYN PHELAN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2009 by Marilyn and Harold Phelan. This scholarship is awarded to a 2L or 3L student interested in careers at tax attorneys.

BILL & CHRIS PEIRSON ENDOWED FEDERALIST SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP 

This scholarship was created in 2019 by Bill and Chris Peirson. This scholarship is award to a rising 2L or 3L student(s) who are active members of the Texas Tech Law Federalist Society or reflect its values.

JERALD POMERANTZ TABC ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2002 by The Texas Association of Bank Counsel in honor of Jerald Pomerantz, a past president of the Texas Association of Bank Counsel who died in office. This scholarship is awarded to students editors of the Texas Bank Lawyer publication.

VIRGINIA RHODES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT

This scholarship was created in 2013 by Rhonda Rhodes. This scholarship is awarded to J.D. students in accordance with TTU School of Law Scholarship policy. First preference will be given to single parents, second preference to students with children.

PROFESSOR RICHARD AND RANDEE ROSEN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP 

This scholarship was created in celebration of Rick and Randee Rosen's 48th wedding anniversary by their children Matt, Josh, Rob, and Alana in 2019. This scholarship will support 2L and 3L students with a preference for students who are currently serving in the military or are veterans with an honorable discharge. 

DAVID H. SEGREST ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2009 by family and friends of David Segrest. This scholarship is awarded to a law student whose undergraduate degree is from Texas Tech System, graduated from a Texas high school, and lettered in high school athletics.

This scholarship was created in 2004 by Jay Settle and Robert Pou. This scholarship is awarded to law students who are on the Board of Editors of the Texas Bank Lawyer publication.

PAUL STAFFORD ENDOWED LAW SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2012 by Paul K. Stafford. This scholarship is awarded to entering first year students at the School of Law.

TX ASSOCIATION OF BANK COUNSEL

This scholarship was created by the Texas Association of Bank Counsel & Archie Overby. This scholarship is awarded to a current editor of the Texas Bank Lawyer.

TX BANK LAWYER EDITOR SCHOLARSHIPS

This scholarship was created by the Texas Association of Bank Counsel & Archie Overby. This scholarship is awarded to a current editor of the Texas Bank Lawyer.

THOMPSON & KNIGHT LAW REVIEW STIPEND

This scholarship is awarded to provide a scholarship & stipend to member/s of the Executive Board of the Law Review (in addition to their Regent's Scholarship).

DARRYL S. VEREEN FAMILY ADVOCACY SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT

This scholarship was created in 2013 by Darryl S. Vereen. This scholarship is awarded to fund a scholarship for a third year student who, in judgment of director of the advocacy program, has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, and made substantial contributions to the advocacy program and as such to the law school as a whole.

T. JOHN and CISSY WARD ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2000 by Brown McCarroll & Oaks Hartline, LLP. This scholarship is awarded to a law student who has overcome serious social, economic, educational or physical handicap prior to application to law school.

SENATOR JEFF WENTWORTH ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2000 by Texas Senator Jeff Wentworth. This scholarship is awarded to the president of the Student Bar Association.

BOBBIE LOU MAE WHITE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2007 by H. Berry White, IV, in honor of his sister who was killed at the age of 21. This scholarship is awarded to a second or third year student intending to pursue a career in criminal prosecution.

WINSTEAD SECHREST MINICK LLP ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created in 2005 by Winstead, Sechrest & Minick, P.C. This scholarship is awarded to law students who are on the Board of Editors of the Texas Bank Lawyer publication.

PROF. GERRY AND MARGARET BEYER ESTATE PLANNING JOURNAL SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was created by Prof. Gerry W. Beyer and his wife, Margaret. Using their donations, those of prior EPJ members, and funds raised through the annual EPJ seminar, awards are made to members of the Editorial Board of the Estate Planning & Community Property Law Journal to recognize distinguished service.
