Ujjwol Paudel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics (AAEC) at Texas Tech University. He studies the industrial organization of food and agricultural markets, using structural and empirical methods to understand market power, vertical bargaining, and how costs and competition affect consumers and workers. His work also draws on operations management, with a focus on supply chains and platform logistics.
Before joining Texas Tech, Dr. Paudel was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Supply Chain Management at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Agribusiness) from Arizona State University, an M.S. in Mathematics from ETH Zürich, and a B.S. in Mathematics from Jacobs University Bremen.
