The Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics offers a variety of study abroad courses to broaden students' global perspectives and prepare them for successful careers in globalized markets. As an integral part of the foo curriculum, the study abroad program creates a unique experience of studying economics and business management through traveling the world. Students have the opportunity to observe the various market processes from farm to fork in the global food supply chain, examine comparatively resource management and production practices in different parts of the world, and visit with producers, business leaders, and foreign service officers about international career options. Country of destination includes China, Ethiopia, Spain, and Malaysia.
