Aquatic ToxicologyResearch Interests:
Texas Tech Faculty Since 2016My research focuses on combining transcriptomics, molecular indicators, in vitro cell assays, along with traditional toxicological and environmental measurements, to determine the effect of legacy compounds and chemicals of emerging concern (CEC) effect fish development and reproductive health. My research has two main themes: 1) the use of laboratory and field studies to identify known and novel adverse outcome pathways from exposure to low-level legacy compounds and CECs; and 2) measuring the fate and transport of chemicals in the aquatic environment through the use of in vitro and in vivo bioassays;
