Financial CoachesFree, Confidential Financial Planning Services by KEY
KEY offers free in-person and virtual financial coaching sessions to help individuals take control of their financial lives. Sessions are available on the following topics:
- Financial goal setting
- Budgeting
- Opening a bank account
- Payday loans
- Credit report, score, and repair

The clinic is located at the Texas Tech Plaza building, 1901 University Avenue, Suite 305, Lubbock, TX 79410. Free parking is available for Clinic guests right outside the building. Take the elevator from the lobby to the third floor.

Volunteering as a financial coach as a financial planning student offers a rich and fulfilling experience that not only enhances your own skills and prospects but also enables you to positively impact the lives of others and contribute to the greater good of society. Volunteers can also apply time in the Clinic towards CFP® and AFC® experience hours.
FPAcademyA Summer Experience for Future Financial Planners
FPAcademy is a premier summer camp experience at Texas Tech University that introduces high school students to financial planning as a profession. Students engage in hands-on activities, network with industry professionals, and explore what a career in financial planning looks like — all on the Texas Tech campus.
