Financial Planning Academy

The Texas Tech Financial Planning Academy will be held on campus at Texas Tech University from June 8 thru 13, 2025. Applications are open at this time.

Students will stay overnight in the dorms and participate in various on-campus activities. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get a feel for what college life is like at a top Division I university.

The cost for camp, including all meals, activities, and housing, is $250 per camper - a price made possible by the generous support from Charles Schwab Foundation. Participants will be responsible for their own travel arrangements. Funding is available to offset the cost of Financial Planning Academy. Students gain practical experience through professional residencies and practicum opportunities. State-of-the-art technology is used throughout the curriculum, with over $5 million in top financial planning software available to students in the PFP program. Texas Tech's PFP faculty are nationally recognized for their contributions to the profession. Texas Tech boasts the largest faculty dedicated to financial planning in the country, and many professors have experience as financial planning professionals.
