Pop Music of the 1980s
Larry Hess believes the 1980s was a wonderful decade for pop and rock music; so much good music, and so much that is still good today! This class will count down the hits of each year in the decade and review the trends and artists; especially, the groundbreaking influence of music television, AKA MTV!
Larry Hess, M.M., is a retired Lubbock Independent School District educator and an OLLI member. He is also a professional musician, having retired after 30 years as a percussionist with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.
