About the Program
Texas Tech University's Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree gives students the knowledge to gain career opportunities in architecture, the building industry, and related fields. Lower division coursework may be completed at El Paso Community College or at another community college or university.
Students completing this degree are expected to meet several learning outcomes:
- Students must be able to use a diverse range of skills to think about and convey architectural ideas
- Students must be able to comprehend the technical aspects of design, systems, and materials and be able to apply that comprehension to architectural solutions while integrating the principles of environmental stewardship.
- Students must be able to demonstrate that they have the ability to synthesize a wide range of variables into an integrated design solution.
