About the Program

Texas Tech University offers the Bachelor of Science degree in Biology through the University Center at MCC in Waco. This program incorporates the core curriculum requirements and additional lower level requirements offered from McLennan Community College. The remaining upper level coursework will be completed as face-to-face classes on the Waco campus. Courses will be offered in a rotation that will allow students to complete the degree in four years. Students interested in completing this degree will pursue a career in biological research or prepare to continue their education toward medical school, pharmacy school, school of veterinarian medicine, or school of physical therapy.
