The Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS) with a major in Early Childhood Education is designed for students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Child Development or Early Childhood from an approved institution. The BAAS in Early Childhood Education prepares students to work with children from infancy through sixth grade. A strong emphasis in child development provides the foundation for understanding the child as an individual within the context of the family, the peer group and school settings.
