Faculty and staff have access to a range of university and community resources supporting physical health, mental health, professional wellbeing and work-life needs.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides private and confidential counseling and assistance for employees, couples, families and work groups.
Faculty & Staff Clinic
The Faculty & Staff Clinic provides convenient access to health care for faculty and staff who become ill or need an urgent care appointment while on campus.
Family Therapy Clinic
The Family Therapy Clinic provides relationship and family therapy services to Texas Tech and the surrounding community while supporting the university's Couple, Marriage and Family Therapy program.
HealthSelect Virtual Visits

MindSpa
MindSpa provides a quiet space for relaxation and stress reduction and is available to Texas Tech students, faculty and staff.
Psychology Clinic
The Texas Tech Psychology Clinic provides psychotherapy and assessment services to members of the university and surrounding community.

Be Well Challenge
The Texas Tech Faculty & Staff Be Well Challenge encourages employees to stay active, make healthy choices and participate alongside colleagues. The Texas Tech Be Well app allows participants to track activity and take part in wellness challenges supported by University Recreation.

University Recreation
University Recreation supports faculty and staff through fitness and wellness programs, aquatics, outdoor pursuits, recreation facilities and special events. Membership options are available to eligible faculty, staff and family members.
Resources for Supporting Students
Faculty often play an important role in recognizing when students may need additional support. Texas Tech provides training, consultation and educational resources that can help faculty respond appropriately and connect students with university services.
- Learn about Mental Health First Aid and QPR training. For information about training opportunities available through Texas Tech, contact rise@ttu.edu.
- Request a RISE presentation, workshop or resource table for a class, department or university event. Requests should be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
Faculty Wellbeing Funding
The Council for Staff & Faculty Wellbeing works with the Office of Faculty Success to support programs that strengthen professional wellbeing and success for Texas Tech faculty and staff.
