Faculty Awards & Recognition brings together opportunities that recognize and support faculty achievement across teaching, research, creative activity, service and leadership. Explore university awards, fellowships and other professional opportunities, review nomination procedures and find current deadlines.

Faculty Awards Deadlines & Procedures

Award schedules, nomination requirements and submission procedures vary by award and may change from year to year. Faculty, nominators and academic units should review current requirements before preparing materials.

Unless otherwise indicated, applications for awards may be submitted by any full-time faculty member. Questions about applicant eligibility should go to Associate Vice Provost Suzanne Tapp.

Texas Tech's Distinguished Faculty Awards recognize exceptional achievement and contributions by faculty across the university. Award categories recognize accomplishments in areas such as teaching, research, creative activity, service and leadership.
