Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Lab
PCIT is an empirically supported treatment program for children with disruptive behavior problems. Originally developed by Dr. Sheila Eyberg, PCIT is a unique treatment program that focuses on promoting positive parent-child relationships and interactions while teaching parents effective child management skills.
The TTU Psychology In-House Clinic offers PCIT services to families in the community. Graduate students are able to participate in a clinical practicum and serve as therapists while being supervised by a certified PCIT trainer.
