At Texas Tech, we believe financial support should be easy to find, and even easier to access. That's why Texas Tech current and admitted prospective students have access to millions of dollars in internal and external scholarship opportunities through Scholarship Universe. Scholarship Universe saves students time by helping research scholarships that are relevant to you.

Scholarship Universe saves you time by matching you directly with opportunities that fit your goals, interests, and achievements. Right now, there are nearly 6,000 scholarships available—ranging from college and departmental awards to external scholarships designed just for Red Raiders.

When to Apply

Most Texas Tech scholarships are open October 1 – February 1, but external scholarship deadlines vary year-round. We encourage you to log in often to explore new opportunities and stay ahead of upcoming deadlines.

How to Get Started

1. Log In: Go to ttu.scholarshipuniverse.com using your eRaider credentials.
   
   • Prospective students will need to be admitted to Texas Tech before logging in.
   • Confirm your contact information if prompted, then click “I’m Ready.”
   • All communications will be sent to your ttu.edu email.
2. Create Your Profile:
   
   • Some information will already be filled in for you.
   • Click the Questions tab on your dashboard and answer as many as possible to help the system find your best matches.
3. Find and Apply:
   
   • Select the Scholarship tab to view your Matches and Partial Matches.
   • Prioritize School Scholarships for Texas Tech-specific opportunities.
   • For partial matches, answer additional questions to complete eligibility. (If you have incomplete Partial Matches when submitting your application, you won’t be considered for those scholarships.)
   • Some external scholarships may direct you to a third-party site to finish your application.
