Financial Guarantee Guidelines

Texas Tech University reserves the right to decline acceptance of a financial guarantee for any reason. If a financial guarantee is not accepted by the institution, the matriculating student must make alternate arrangements for payment of all tuition and fees.

A valid financial guarantee consists of the following:

• Sponsor Information
  • Sponsor Name, mailing address, email address, telephone number
• Student Information
  • Student Name, ID, degree/major
• Effective dates of the financial guarantee.
  • Dates must cover an entire term.
• Charges covered by the sponsor
  • Example: tuition, fees, room and board, student health visits
• If Sponsor includes health insurance.
• Charges not covered by the sponsor, if applicable.
  • Example: parking permits, etc.
• Billing instuctions and contact information
  • Required if different from Sponsor Information (above)
