Lisa is a key member of the law school external relations team with her expertise in non-profit. When she arrived, there were 79 endowed scholarships. Since that time, the number has more than doubled. In addition, the law school endowment has significantly increased over the last five years to approximately $40 million. With this growth, Lisa along with her team, found a way to recognize such philanthropy. The Law School recently established Giving Societies to honor those dedicated to supporting the Texas Tech Law School Foundation through charitable gifts. To recognize the contributions of these alumni and friends, a new 8-foot interactive digital Donor Honor Wall was unveiled at each end of the building. Lisa was instrumental in the creation of these new Giving Societies and the design and installation of the digital Donor Honor Wall. Many hours were dedicated to ensuring that every donor received the appropriate credit for all previous gifts made to the Law School and was recognized in the appropriate Giving Society category. Her commitment to ensuring donors feel recognized is key to the future success of the Law School and its students. In addition to the digital Donor Honor Wall, Lisa carefully and thoughtfully sends out thank-you packets to the donors. Even with this continued growth, the annual audits are spotless. The auditors tell the Texas Tech Law School Foundation Board Members how rare such consistent impeccable audits are, year after year. This is particularly significant in that, until recently, Lisa was a department of one. Lisa can navigate efficiently and consistently with minimal resources without affecting productivity. Her unwavering dedication and work ethic are simply superb.
