Personal Financial Planning

Scholarships

The Personal Financial Planning program awards scholarships to students based on excellence in academics, leadership, financial need, and other specific criteria set forth by individual scholarships.  A scholarship committee made up of three or more faculty members will review eligible applications and make awards annually.  Students will be contacted during the spring semester to accept or decline scholarship awards.

Current Undergraduate Students: You must apply for scholarships using the general TTU scholarship application, and have your transcripts, SAT, or ACT scores on file.  A letter of recommendation from a faculty member is not required for undergraduate scholarships. Undergraduates must complete the scholarship application by February 1 in order to be considered for academic scholarships for the following academic year.

Graduate Students: You do not need to fill out the general TTU scholarship application only the Graduate School scholarship application. This application will open on November 15 and the application is due January 15.

Students who receive a scholarship are required to write a thank-you note to the scholarship donor every semester. Failing to submit a thank-you letter will result in your scholarship being revoked. In addition, awardees must be enrolled full-time in the major associated with their scholarship and maintain the GPA specified by the scholarship each semester.
