What if I am TSI compliant from another institution?

You will need to provide an official transcript from that institution.

What if I have high test scores on the SAT, ACT, or TAKS and the time limit has passed?

You will need to take the TSI Assessment test.

Is TSI an admissions requirement?

No, however, you may not register for any classes until you have tested or provided proper documentation of TSI compliance.

Where do I take the TSI Assessment test?

You may take the TSI Assessment test at any Texas public institution. To test at TTU, please visit our Academic Testing Office in West Hall, Room 214, 806.742.3671.  The exam is $50.00 and can be paid with a check, money order, VISA, or MasterCard.  You will need to present your picture ID in order to test.  Once tested, you will submit your score report to the TSI Compliance office in West Hall Room 116.
