2009 Tax Information
2009 1098T’s are currently being processed by Vangent, Inc. and will be mailed to each qualifying student by the end of January 2010. If you failed to update your student account with a current permanent address, Texas Tech will be able to provide you a reprint beginning February 2010.
Please note that Texas Tech University is prohibited from discussing or disclosing any student information over the telephone or to anyone other than the student themselves. The University cannot send a student’s 1098-T directly to a parent or tax preparer. The student will need to provide the 1098-T to his/her parent or tax preparer. Due to FERPA laws as well as the upcoming Red Flag Rules, established by the Federal Trade Commission, stricter policies regarding student requests by phone and email will be enforced in order secure a student's account as well as to prevent identity theft. All requests must be made by the former or current student.
