At the Texas Tech Police Department, our priority is the safety and well-being of every member of our campus community. We are committed to protecting life and property, enforcing the law with fairness and professionalism, and upholding the values that define Texas Tech.

Community partnership is central to our work. We collaborate closely with students, faculty and staff to prevent crime, address safety concerns and foster an environment built on trust and mutual respect. Through proactive engagement, education and responsive service, we strive to create a campus where everyone can learn, work and live with confidence.

 The Texas Tech Police Department provides 24-hour law enforcement and security services for Texas Tech University and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. The police department also services the Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas and Midland/Odessa locations.
