Unmatched Generosity
Each year, in partnership with our individual departments and other academic units, with tremendous thanks to the Helen Jones Foundation for their unmatched generosity, the College of Arts & Sciences awards roughly fifteen Helen DeVitt Jones Graduate Fellowship awards and another fifteen Helen DeVitt Jones Undergraduate Scholarship awards. These awards go to the best and the brightest our College has to offer and are among the most prestigious awards granted at Texas Tech University.

$6000 per year (up to four years)
MA/MS students

Additional Terms and Conditions
- Maintain full-time enrollment status in the College of Arts & Sciences, defined as 9 hours (for graduate students) and 12 hours (for undergraduate students).
- Maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Maintain the highest academic and professional standards in accordance with the university’s Student Code of Conduct.
- Must not accept or already hold a Helen DeVitt Jones Graduate Fellowship or Helen DeVitt Jones Undergraduate Scholarship from any other entity at Texas Tech University.
- Write and submit an additional thank you letter once per year as directed by the College of Arts & Sciences.
