Unmatched Generosity
Each year, in partnership with our individual departments and other academic units, with tremendous thanks to the Helen DeVitt Jones Foundation for their unmatched generosity, the College of Arts & Sciences awards roughly fifteen Helen Jones Fellowships (for graduate students) and another fifteen Helen Jones Scholarships (for undergraduate students). These awards go to the best and the brightest our College has to offer and are among the most prestigious awards granted at Texas Tech University.

These Students Received Financial Assistance Toward Tuition and Fees in the Amounts Of:
phd students
$6000 per year (up to four years)
MA/MS students
$6000 per year (up to two years)
BA/BS students
$5000 per year (up to four years)

Additional Terms and Conditions
- Maintain full-time enrollment status in the College of Arts & Sciences, defined as 9 hours (for graduate students) and 12 hours (for undergraduate students).
- Maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Maintain the highest academic and professional standards in accordance with the university’s Student Code of Conduct.
- Must not accept or already hold a Helen Jones Fellowship or Scholarship from any other entity at Texas Tech University.
- Write and submit an additional thank you letter once per year as directed by the College of Arts & Sciences.
- Letter submission requires an active eRaider account. CLICK HERE if you do not have an active eRaider account and need to set one up.
