Graduate Information

It is time to begin making plans for your graduation from Texas Tech University at the end of this semester. I hope that you and your family and friends plan to attend the Commencement ceremony at the following date at time:

Date, Time, and Location

Date: Friday, May 15th, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Location: United Supermarkets Arena

Registration

1. You must register for the ceremony if you wish to be recognized. You should receive an email from the TTU Commencement Committee with instructions on how to register.
2. Deadline to register is April 22nd. Please plan to arrive one hour prior to your ceremony.
3. Please note: the clear bag policy will be in effect for all graduates and guests.

Diplomas

1. Undergraduate Arts & Sciences students may pick up their diploma at the graduation reception on the south lawn of Holden Hall from 9:30am - 12:30pm, or you may also pick up your diploma in the Dean's Office (102 Holden Hall) from May 18th - 29th.
2. If you do not pick up your diploma, it will be mailed at the end of June. You will receive an email with diploma mailing information during the semester.

Per University policy, a diploma cannot be issued to a student who has any financial obligation to the University. Returned/unclaimed diplomas will be kept for one year. After that time, you will need to order a reissued diploma for $50 plus shipping and handling through the Office of the Registrar.
