The Texas Tech University College of Arts & Sciences was founded in 1925 as one of the university's four original colleges. Comprised of 15 departments and one program, the college offers a wide variety of courses in the humanities, social and behavioral sciences, mathematics, and natural sciences. Undergraduates can choose from more than 40 bachelor's degree programs, while graduate students may choose from roughly 50 programs at the master's or doctoral level.
