Student Ambassadors AwardedTech 10 Award

In the fall of 2023, Student Life & Academic Innovation and Student Success created Tech10, an honor given out to ten graduating seniors. These ten individuals will be chosen based on the four principles of the Red Raider Spirit. These principles include a commitment to academic excellence, commitment to leadership on the TTU campus, commitment to service, and a commitment to Striving for Honor. Tech10 will be chosen based on an application and interview process and will be honored at the end of the Spring 2025 semester

What Are the Responsibilities and Perks of an A&S Student Ambassador?
The responsibilities and perks include, but are not limited to:
  • Participation in numerous University and College-related recruitment events.
  • Attendance at College and Career Fairs on and off campus.
  • Visits to area High Schools.
  • Active involvement in Texas Tech Homecoming Festivities.
    • 2025-2026 Student Ambassador, Christian Villegas, made Top 5 for the King candidates!
    • 2025-2026 Student Ambassador, Tristan Bartosiewicz, made Top 5 for the Queen candidates!
    • 2024-2025 Student Ambassador, Konner Jenkins, made Top 10 for the King candidates! 
    • 2023-2024 Student Ambassador, Alessio Tannaz, made Top 10 for the King candidates! 
    • 2022-2023 Student Ambassador, Cal Vinson, made Top 10 for the King candidates!
    • 2021-2022 Ambassador President, Donovan Satchell, was crowned 2021 Homecoming King!

  • Potentially receive up to $5,000 in annual scholarships, awarded at the discretion of the A&S Dean's Advisory Board.
What Are the Exceptions of an A&S Student Ambassador?
  • Must maintain a cumulative TTU GPA of 3.3 or higher.
  • Must dedicate a total of 20 hours of service per semester.
  • Of the required service hours, 5 hours must be dedicated to community service.
  • Must attend all monthly meetings and socials.
  • Must have a general understanding and knowledge of various Arts & Sciences degrees and programs.
  • Must comply with the TTU student Code of Academic Honesty and Integrity.
