College of Arts & Sciences Launches New Multidisciplinary Research Journal Story By: Erin Garcia

The College of Arts & Sciences at Texas Tech University has launched a new multidisciplinary research journal. The inaugural issue of the International Journal of Basic, Applied, and Multidisciplinary Research (IJBAMRe) brings together a diverse collection of peer-reviewed scholarship aimed at advancing global knowledge through open-access publishing.

This first volume includes computational economic modeling on U.S. tax policy, pharmacophore-based analyses of natural antidiabetic compounds, and a comparative study of textile effluent treatment across major Bangladeshi industrial hubs.

It also features editorial commentary emphasizing the urgent need for multidisciplinary collaboration, open-access knowledge sharing, and expanded research engagement among high school and undergraduate students.

IJBAMRe is designed to serve as a no-cost platform for authors and readers worldwide. It supports cross-disciplinary innovation, accelerating information exchange, and elevating emerging researchers. The journal’s mission reflects Texas Tech’s commitment to strengthening the global research ecosystem and investing in the next generation of scholars.
