Joshua Kulseth earned his MFA in poetry from Hunter College and his PhD in poetry from Texas Tech University. His poems have appeared and are forthcoming in Tar River Poetry, The Emerson Review, The Potomac Review, The Windhover, The South Carolina Review, and others. He was also the grand-prize winner of Poet Hunt 30 for his poem "Kalanchoe." His first book of poems, Leaving Troy, shortlisted for the Cider Press Review Publication Competition, was published by Finishing Line Press in August 2025. He is an Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
