Sofia McKay Instructor - First-Year Writing

Sofia McKay is an instructor in FYW for Texas Tech, with an M.A. in English, Creative Writing. Her novels, short stories, poetry and webcomics feature liminal spaces, as not only is that one of her passions, but liminality reflects her own identity as someone with a mixed-race background. She loves to experiment and blend genres in her writing, her expertise being uncanny horror-romance. Her research interests lie in psychoanalysis and the creative process, for example, revamping the enneagram types to create character arcs.
