Jeanne May X. Smith MFA Student - Creative Writing (Poetry)

Jeanne May XiaoLu Smith ("Jeanne May" is her first name, and it is pronounced like “genie” and the fifth month of the year) is a writer from Nacogdoches, Texas. She received a BA in English (Creative Writing) from Texas Tech University and minored in Public Relations and Strategic Communications. She is continuing her degree as an MFA student in Creative Writing and a focus in Poetry. She writes from a narrative aspect, exploring memories, identity, relationships, and personal interests. She loves sports and aims to write sports biographies in the future.
