About the Landscape Studies Undergraduate Minor Program
A minor in landscape studies consists of introductory design, history, and modeling and communication courses totalling 18 semester credit hours. Nine (9) hours of required courses are:
- LARC 1302 - Introduction to Landscape Architecture. 3 Semester Credit Hours
- LARC 2302 - History of Landscape Architecture. 3 Semester Credit Hours
- LARC 4351 - Environmental Planning for Sustainable Development. 3 Semester Credit Hours
A minor in landscape studies also consists of 9 hours of directed electives chosen from among the following:
- LARC 1321 - LA Modeling and Communication I. 3 Semester Credit Hours
- LARC 1322 - LA Modeling and Communication II. 3 Semester Credit Hours
- LARC 1411 - LA Design Studio I. 4 Semester Credit Hours
- LARC 1412 - LA Design Studio II. 4 Semester Credit Hours
