Biography
Donald Docimo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University. His research focuses on model reduction, optimal control, and design optimization of energy systems. Current applications include physics-based battery cell modeling, estimation and balancing control for heterogeneous battery packs, and integrated hierarchical control and design for electric vehicles and power grid technology.
