Soumyoraj Mallick (PhD Student) 

I am currently pursuing Ph.D. in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University. I have been honored with the Distinguished Graduate Student Assistantship (DGSA) fellowship. My research focuses on enhancing the safety and security of cyberphysical systems, with particular applications in energy storage systems to safeguard them against internal faults and external attacks. I am passionate about applying my research to solve real-world challenges and am eager to build a career in industry. Beyond my academic interests, I am an football (soccer) enthusiast, enjoy swimming during my leisure time, and am a keen chess and PC gamer.

Faysal Ahamed (PhD Student)

I am currently pursuing PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on control systems. My research focuses on the cybersecurity and sustainability in cyberphysical systems. I aim to apply control theoretic strategies to improve security and increase the efficiency and performance of smart infrastructure systems. Outside of my academic life, I enjoy planting trees and watching movies.
