Gouache Your Way – A Fine Arts Tale
Gouache (goo-AHsh) – first used in France in the 1700s to describe a type of paint made from pigments bound in water-soluble gum – is often used to create whites and highlights in watercolors. Learn step-by-step as June Musick presents a pre-selected set of small simple works. She will demonstrate new and old techniques, the use of paints and papers, and how they all work together. Follow along with June; however, painting for your mind and heart is the ultimate goal!
Participants will need to acquire their own supplies if they wish to paint along with June.
