As part of the 2017-18 "Food and..." Speakers Series, Florence Reed presented her
talk "Food and Sustainability: Farming as if the Future Matters" on November 9, 2017,
in the Escondido Theatre.
Florence Reed is the founder and president of Sustainable Harvest International.
She founded the organization in 1997 after serving as a volunteer in the Peace Corps
in Panama.
