2022-2023 Post-Doctoral Fellow: Criseida Santos-Guevara

The Humanities Center is proud to announce Criseida Santos -Guevara as our 2022-2023 Post- Dectoral Fellow. 

Criseida Santos-Guevara is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Humanities Center at Texas Tech University. She recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Creative Writing in Spanish from the University of Houston. She has two published novels in México: Rhyme & Reason (FETA 2008) and La reinita pop no ha muerto (Penguin Random House 2022). She is currently doing research on the pre-colonial environment and the original inhabitants of Northern Mexico and South Texas, how these two aspects have been left out in the construction of the border identity of both countries.
