I received my associate's degree at Delaware County Community College and my bachelor's degree at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. My research interests include psychedelics, illicit substances such as opioids and cannabis, and legal substances like alcohol and tobacco. More specifically, I'm interested in how cognitive constructs (e.g., motives, expectancies, risk perceptions, etc.) can impact substance-use and substance-use-disorder-treatment outcomes. I also enjoy hanging out with friends, traveling, reading, exploring music, and playing basketball, among other things.

I received my B.S. in Psychology at Abilene Christian University (2020). I am interested in interpersonal factors that affect substance use and associated outcomes, including how perceptions of other's drinking impact an individual. Specifically, my research interests lie in elucidating how romantic relationships during emerging adulthood influence and interact with alcohol use and individual outcomes, like depression and anxiety. Outside of the lab, I do not play basketball.

I graduated with my bachelor's degree in psychology from Louisiana State University in 2015. Upon graduation, I spent one year working in case management at a substance abuse treatment center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I currently study problematic substance use through the lens of executive functions and am also interested in the role of emotion (dys)regulation as well as neuropsychology. Outside the lab, I enjoy skateboarding, playing Rocket League, and placing bets on basketball games between lab members.

I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and then began attending Texas Tech University's Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program in 2017. I have experience working on various research projects, with topics ranging from attachment style and sleep to attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults. Clinically, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with presenting problems related to anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems in various settings, including university clinics, private practice, and juvenile detention and adult correctional facilities. More recently, I have been interested in working on research projects with direct clinical implications, especially treatment studies. My current interests include ADHD, peer victimization, assessment, and treatment across the lifespan. Outside of the lab, you can find Mike and I training to give Dan an L in the lab's championship basketball tournament on April 4, 2022.
