Why did you join Red to Black®? While working for a major investment firm, Fidelity Investments, my favorite responsibility was providing coaching around investments and personal finance. Knowing that understanding a few financial principles can make all the difference in life, I am grateful for the opportunity to meet other students as a financial coach and work with them to find ways to meet their goals and to avoid pitfalls. Working with Red to Black has let me focus on the part of financial planning that I like most: coaching.

Career Goals: To become a practicing professor in personal financial planning, do research in debt management, and help schools and financial planners work more effectively with PFP students.

Why did you join Red to Black? Most of my experience in banking has been very focused on loans, but teaching university classes for almost five years, I consider it the most rewarding experience. When I heard my students wondering about future and investments, it always reminded me of how I became passionate about finance. Therefore, here in TTU as a graduate student, I became increasingly aware of my need to help students to learn more about financial education.

Career Goals: As a Financial Planner, I would like to learn as much as possible in the industry, become an expert and, at some point, assume a leadership position.

Interests: Travel, food (I consider myself a foodie), working out, volunteering
