Newly Admitted Students

The mission of Student Disability Services is to enhance each student's learning through the provision of programs and services for students with a disability.

Our goal is to assist you in attaining your academic, career, and personal goals -- regardless of any physical, learning, psychological, psychiatric, or other documented disability you may have.

Register with Student Disability Services

As a newly admitted TTU student, you will need to complete the following steps to register with Student Disability Services:

• Apply for Studetn Disability Services: Complete both parts of the application and upload appropriate documentation.
• Once you have fully submitted your application and documentation, you will be assigned a Student Disability Services case manager, who will reach out to determine when you would like to meet for an intake interview, during which approved classroom accommodations will be reviewed and explained.
• Any student wishing to participate in the TECHniques Center must first be approved with Student Disability services, and meet the eligibility requirements to participate in the Techniques Center program.
• Once you have received approval with your Student Disability Services case manager, you may go to the TECHniques Center Home Page to learn more information about the program and apply for their services.
• Students who are approved for the TECHniques Center will meet with their TECHniques Center case manager for program information.

Application deadlines:

Apply to Student Disability Services (for classroom accommodations) at least 10 days prior to needing services

TECHniques Center: Space is limited, causing deadlines to vary each semester. Completed applications are processed in the order they are received. Please contact the TECHniques Center office for current information.
