Chemical Engineering Mentor Program

"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."
-Winston Churchill
"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."
- Isaac Newton

The Chemical Engineering Mentor Program is starting with its pilot program in spring 2018. The mission is to foster meaningful professional relationships between our current chemical engineering students and our alumni, to prepare students for their future careers, and to foster responsibility and excellence in the next generation of Red Raider chemical engineers. The mentoring relationship, open to a select group of chemical engineering students, supports students as they explore chemical engineering careers, find their place in the profession, and transform from students to responsible and engaged engineers who are ready and willing to make a difference.

Mentoring Advisory Committee: Margaret Walker (BSChE 1974), Rick Jones (BSChE 1981), Kip Boit (MS/BSChE 2008, Committee Chair), Chiagoziem Aneke (ChE Senior), Mackenzie Steckbeck (ChE Senior), Yogi Paturu (ChE Junior), Mackenzie Hamilton (WCOE Director of Development)

Student Applications We will begin to accept new applications for Fall 2018 in August.
