"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."

"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."

The mission of the Chemical Engineering Mentor Program is to foster meaningful professional relationships between our current chemical engineering students and our alumni, to prepare students for their future careers, and to foster responsibility and excellence in the next generation of Red Raider chemical engineers. The mentoring relationship, open to a select group of chemical engineering students, supports students as they explore chemical engineering careers, find their place in the profession, and transform from students to responsible and engaged engineers who are ready and willing to make a difference.

Mentoring Advisory Committee: Margaret Walker (BSChE 1974), Rick Jones (BSChE 1981), Yogi Paturu (BSChE 2018, Committee Chair), Chiagoziem Aneke (BSChE 2018), Mackenzie Steckbeck (BSChE 2018), Yogi Paturu (ChE Senior)
