The position involves performing specialized analytical duties in the operation and maintenance of the assigned area. As a key partner to the college, the role requires the individual to take ownership and become an expert in funding sources and maximization of limited resources. The responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and developing data relative to the area, making recommendations, and assisting in the implementation of projects.

The individual is expected to execute report duties without revisions and handle ad hoc data requests with high accuracy. They should be adept at sharing knowledge both inside and outside the department and contributing to a culture of transparency and continuous learning.

Part of the role also involves documenting and updating current processes and procedures, ensuring that the department operates efficiently and is always improving. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
