Refers to your ability to manage emotions effectively, to have resilience, manage stress, deal with anxiety, and overcome negative thoughts.  This is a fluid and ever-changing process that is influenced by both internal and external factors.

Involves improving successes in knowledge-acquiring activities and nurturing a passion for learning. This goes beyond academic success and incorporates time management, stress management, developing learning and studying strategies and goal setting.

Social and Emotional wellness comes from investing in people around you and building healthy relationships that support you throughout your life.  Good social habits can improve mental and physical health and help you build healthy habits.

Performance Wellness

This refers to your ability to perform at your best for audiences of your instructors and peers, deal with performance anxiety, time management, and many aspects of the music-learning process. This also includes injury prevention, nutrition and hydration, practice strategies, building a supportive social network inside and outside of the music building,.
