Matías Muñoz
Academic Biography:
From South America, Chile, Matías Muñoz is a person who is involved in everything related to languages, effective communication, culture, and translation. With a degree in Languages, graduated in 2021 with a degree in English-Spanish Translation, with a specialization in International Business from Universidad Tecnológica de Chile, Inacap, Matias has focused on translation and localization work for various products aimed at the Latin American audience.
He is part of the original indigenous peoples of Chile (Diaguitas), has been involved in different activities and projects to study, understand, and share his knowledge about other cultures. He worked and was part of APEC, the economic forum, serving as an interpreter for ministers from different countries. He was part of the Moving the Cities event at the Universidade of Vale do Rio dos Sinos, where various countries participated. He reached the final and won first place in the university's international competition. He often works as a translator of theses, documents, books from various fields, and video games. Currently, he is an MA student in Romance Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics, in the Spanish program at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Spanish Heritage Language, Research, and acquisition of indigenous languages. Eye tracking, translation, and subtitles
