Academic Biography:

Born in Huelva, Spain, Rocío Rodríguez Cáceres is passionate about languages, literature, and cultural studies. She earned her B.A. in English Studies with a focus on Literature and Culture from the University of Seville in 2023. From 2023 to 2024, she worked as a linguistic assistant at the Texas Tech University Center in Seville, where she supported language instruction and intercultural programming.

Currently, she is pursuing an M.A. in Literature and Cultural Studies in the Spanish program at Texas Tech University, where she also works as a Graduate Part-Time Instructor.

Research interests; thesis topic/title:

African-American Diaspora Studies; Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century Literature; Hemispheric and Transatlantic Studies; Body Studies; Women's Studies; and Narrative Theory; Critical Race Theory.
