Academic Biography:

Riyad was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he also graduated from the University of Dhaka with a B.A. with Honors in English and an M.A. in English Literature. After passing the DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) B1 examination, he studies the B2 Level Course in Spanish at Cátedra Inditex, University of Dhaka. He taught English language and literature courses for two years at State University of Bangladesh and Southeast University in Bangladesh. Currently, he works as a Graduate Part-Time Instructor at Texas Tech University while pursuing his M.A. in Spanish Literature and Cultural Studies.

Modernism, Postmodernism, Postcolonialism, Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, Contemporary Spanish Literature
