Biography
Dr. Chinta is an Assistant Professor of Practice at Texas Tech University. Her research is into understanding the emotional expression of autistic individuals. Utilizing facial expression analysis, EEG recordings, and eye-tracking techniques, she captures a holistic view of their emotional landscape. Facial expressions offer visual cues, EEG highlights the neurological processes, and eye-tracking pinpoints attentional shifts during emotional events. Yet, her commitment doesn't stop at research. She passionately educates students, ensuring they grasp both the theoretical and practical aspects of her field. Additionally, by actively collaborating with the broader community, she seeks to translate her findings into tangible benefits for those affected by autism.
