Climate Center Data

 Cotton Field with dog

One of the research avenues of the TTU Climate Center under the direction of Dr. Katharine Hayhoe is the generation of high-resolution climate projections for weather stations and grids across North America and beyond.

We are currently finalizing a state-of-the-art dataset of temperature and precipitation projections from 1950 to 2100 for weather stations across North and Central America and the Caribbean, and gridded projections across the U.S. and Canada, using the STAR-ESDM. This dataset will be made available for download in a user-friendly format via ESRI in late 2020 and a link will be posted here as soon as it is available.

In the meantime, the original netCDF files are available upon request to users who are familiar with scientific data formats and climate projections and do not require significant assistance or guidance to access or apply the information.
