Julia Giacomet Thomazoni MA Student - Film Studies

Julia Giacomet Thomazoni is an international student from Brazil with an extensive background in teaching and research. She earned an M.A. in Communication Studies at Texas Tech University, where she also served as assistant for the university's debate team, GPTI for Public Speaking, and as the COMS Representative of the MCOM Graduate Student Society. Her research in Communication Studies focused on the intersections of popular culture, rhetoric, religion, and power. She has been to many conferences and has a paper in the process of publication in an OER. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in English with a concentration in Film Studies, further developing her expertise in this field.
